  • Base Azul uses 5 factory displays in a 2-player game and 4 tiles per factory.
  • On your turn, take all tiles of one color from a single factory or from the center.
  • The first player to take tiles from the center also takes the starting-player marker and adds it to the floor line.
  • Chosen tiles must go to exactly one pattern line or to the floor. A pattern line can hold only one color, and its wall row cannot already contain that color.
  • At the end of the round, each completed pattern line moves one tile to the wall, scores immediately, and sends the extras to the discard.
  • The game ends after the wall-tiling phase in which at least one wall row is complete. Bonus points come from completed rows, columns, and color sets.
